M. Teresa Sanchez-Ballesta, Doctor of Pharmacy, Tenured scientist since 2007 at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). Actually, I’m working at Department of Biotechnology and Postharvest Quality at the Institute of Food Science, Technology and Nutrition (ICTAN-CSIC). My research line is focused to understand the molecular mechanisms underlying the response of fruit to low temperature and to changes in the atmosphere, such as the application of high levels of CO2 to maintain the quality during postharvest storage.
