Samir Al-Adawi is a Professor of behavioral medicine at the College of Medicine, Sultan Qaboos University, Muscat, Oman. Previously, he was a Fulbright Senior Scholar, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Harvard Medical School, Boston, Mass, USA, and he was also a Research Scientist, sponsored by Matsumae International Foundation, Japan, at the Department of Psychosomatic Medicine, Graduate School of Medicine, University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan. His doctorate training was completed at the Institute of Psychiatry, King’s College, London, UK. Dr. Al-Adawi has research interests that focus on functional prognosis among the patients with cognitive impairment.
