Fu-Hu Liu was born in Shanxi Province, China, in January 1964. He received the B.S. degree in physics education from Shanxi Normal University in 1984 and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in nuclear physics from China Institute of Atomic Energy in 1989 and 1993, respectively. He was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute of High Energy Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1993-1995, a Postdoctoral Fellow at McGill University, Montreal, Canada in 1995-1996, a Senior Researcher at Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, Dubna, Russia in 1998, a Visiting Scholar at Texas A&M University, College Station, USA in 2000, a Visiting Scholar at the University of British Columbia (TRIUMF/UBC), Vancouver, Canada in 2003-2004, and a Visiting Scholar at McGill University, Montreal, Canada in 2007-2008. He worked at Shanxi Normal University as a Professor of physics in 1997-2005 and joined Shanxi University as a Professor of physics in 2005. His research interests are in the fields of nucleus-nucleus collisions at intermediate and high energies and electron-positron collisions at high energies.
