Prof Ammu Kutty Radhakrishnan PhD (Cambridge), MSc (Malaya) BSc (Hons) (Malaya) Prof Ammu Kutty Radhakrishnan is a Professor of Pathology with the Pathology Division, School of Medicine, International Medical University (IMU). She was the Head of the Pathology Division, IMU from 1 February 2009 to 31 March 2012. Prof Radhakrishnan obtained a First Class Honours Bachelor of Science (Biochemistry) and a Master of Science (Biochemistry) degrees from the University of Malaya. In 1989, she was awarded the prestigious Shell-Cambridge Commonwealth Trust Scholarship and the British Overseas Research Scholarship (ORS) award to read her Doctor of Philosophy at the Immunology Division, Department of Pathology, University of Cambridge, UK. Prof Radhakrishnan’s research interests include tumour immunology in the areas of immune-regulation and modulations in breast cancer as well as developing immune-based therapeutics and identifying novel bio-active products with anti-cancer and immune-enhancing activities. Prof Radhakrishnan has supervised many postgraduate students working in these research areas. Currently, Prof Radhakrishnan is also a Fellow of the Cambridge Commonwealth Trust and the Cambridge Philosophical Society.
