Fabio La Foresta

Fabio La Foresta is an Associate Professor of electrical engineering at Mediterranea University of Reggio Calabria, Reggio Calabria, Italy. Since 2002, he has been the author of about a hundred scientific papers in the field of electrical and biomedical engineering. Since 2006, he has been conducting his teaching activity in B.S./M.S. degree courses in engineering. His research fields are electrical engineering, biomedical data processing, and computational neural engineering. La Foresta got, in 1998, his M.S. degree (summa cum laude) in electronic engineering from University of Messina, Messina, Italy, and, in 2004, his Ph.D. degree in advanced technologies for information engineering, from the same university. La Foresta was from 2003 to 2005 a Researcher in biomedical engineering, Mediterranea University of Reggio Calabria, and from 2005 to 2016 an Assistant Professor of electrical engineering at the same university. From 2016 to date, he has been an associate professor of electrical engineering at Mediterranea University of Reggio Calabria. His services at Mediterranea University of Reggio Calabria (last 5 years) are, from 2006 to date, Technical Coordinator of the NeuroLab Laboratory; 2007 to date, Committee Associate Member Engineer Qualification; 2013 to date, Ph.D. Committee Member of Civil and Safety Engineering; 2013 to date, Committee President Orientation Activity; 2015 to date, Committee President TFA in Electrical Engineering; 2015 to date, Committee Member of the Admission Test; and 2015 to date, Coordinator of the Academic Tutoring.
