Krzysztof Malarz received his M.E. degree in technical physics (computer physics, 1996) and Ph.D. degree in physics (computer and theoretical physics, 2000) from the Faculty of Physics and Nuclear Techniques, University of Mining and Metallurgy, Krakow, Poland, and D.S. degree in physics (complex systems, computer, and theoretical physics, 2016) from the Faculty of Physics and Applied Computer Science, AGH University of Science and Technology, Krakow, Poland. His scientific interests cover studies of the complex systems (including dynamics of public opinion, population aging, and evolution and modeling of the magnetic interactions) by means of computer simulations. He is an author of 60 journal papers. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor and a Deputy Dean at the Faculty of Physics and Applied Computer Science, AGH University of Science and Technology, Krakow, Poland. He is Senior Editor for Central European Journal of Physics, Review Editor for Frontiers in Physics (section: Interdisciplinary Physics) and Editor for International Journal of Statistical Mechanics and for The Scientific World Journal (section: Computer Science).
