Indra Vir Singh

Indra Vir Singh completed his B.S. degree, in 1996, from AMU, Aligarh, India, his M.S. degree, in 1998, from IIT Delhi, New Delhi, India, and his Ph.D. degree, in 2004, from BITS, Pilani, India. He is currently working as Associate Professor at the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Roorkee, India. He has published a book on mesh-free methods. He was given the best paper award by Institution of Engineers, India. His areas of interest include FEM, XFEM, mesh-free methods, isogeometric analysis, fracture and damage mechanics, fatigue behavior of materials, composite materials modeling and simulations, and nonlinear and multiscale modeling.
