Constantin Rotaru

Constantin Rotaru received Ph.D. degree in aerospace sciences. Since 1991, Rotaru is Assistant, Lecturer, Assistant Professor, and Professor. Currently, Rotaru is Professor at Military Technical Academy, Faculty of Mechatronics and Armament Integrated Systems, and Director of Department of Aviation Integrated Systems, Geomatics and Mechanics. Rotaru gained experience in many subjects such as computational fluid dynamic, fluid mechanics, and numerical methods in aerospace sciences. Rotaru’s most significant achievements include Project Director for Military Technical Academy for the European Project Technology Developments for Aeroelastic Simulations on Unstructured Grids, coordinated by EADS Germany and in which 14 European companies and universities were involved; Project Director for New Generation Engine for IAR 99 Training Aircraft, supported by Romanian Space Agency, through Aerospace Framework; Project Director for Parachute System for High Altitude High Operation, supported by Romanian Minister of Defense. Rotaru is a Member in prestigious international professional associations such as American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) and American Helicopter Society (AHS). Rotaru is also Member at Advisory Committee for Centre of Excellence for Integrated Aircraft Technology CEIAT, Queen’s University, Belfast, UK, and Scientific Board of Advances in Military Technology Review, University of Defense, Brno, Czech Republic.
