Assistant Professor, University of Torino (1993-1998). Assistant Professor, University of Piemonte Orientale (1998-2000). Associate Professor, University of Piemonte Orientale (2000-2004). Full Professor of Computer Science, University of Piemonte Orientale (2004-now). Chair of the Computer Science Department of University of Piemonte Orientale (2007-2011). Head of the Computer Science Institute of University of Piemonte Orientale (2012-now). Program committe member of several international conferences and program co-chair of the First Italian Workshop on Case-Based Reasoning (1998), the Workshop on Applications of Petri Nets to Intelligent System Development (1999) and the Fifth European Workshop on Case-Based Reasoning (2000). Invited speaker to MMR'04 and MMR'07 (session on Bayesian Networks and Reliability). Editor for the volume Advances in Case-Based Reasoning (Lecture Notes in Computer Science 1898, Springer, 2000). Reviewer for French National Research Agency (ANR). Member of the Italian Association for Artificial Intelligence (AI*IA) and of the Association for the Advacement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI). Member of GRIN , the Italian National Group of Computer Science Researchers. Member of research units of CINI (Italian Consortium on Informatcs), CNIT (Italian Consortium on telecommunications) and InfoQ (Group on Quantitative Informatics). Member of the technical and scientific committe of EComLab (center for e-commerce studies).
