Fabio Ribeiro Braga

Fabio Ribeiro Braga is Professor of parasitology at the University of Vila Velha, Vila Velha, Brazil, and Volunteer Professor at the Federal University of Viçosa, Brazil, where he collaborates in the disciplines of parasitic diseases of domestic animals, general parasitology and veterinary hygiene. He received his Doctor degree in veterinary, in the field of parasitology, from the University of VilaVelha, Vila Velha, Brazil, and completed his specialization in clinical surgery of small animals in the same university. Dr. Braga has got his M.S. degree in veterinary medicine from Federal University of Viçosa, concentrating his research and specialization on general parasitology and biological control. He has experience in the field of human and veterinary parasitology, chemical and biological control of gastrointestinal and potentially zoonotic nematodiasis of domestic animals. Currently, he is one of the leading experts in research on biological control of gastrointestinal helminthiasis, and he acts also in various areas of medical and biological sciences. Moreover, he serves as an invited Reviewer for several international journals of prominence on research in human and veterinary parasitology.
