T.S. Jang

T.S. Jang is a Professor of naval architecture and ocean engineering at Pusan National University, Busan, Republic of Korea. He was granted a Ph.D. in ocean engineering from the Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering Department, Seoul National University. He serves as an Associate Member of International Ship and Offshore Structures Congress (ISSC) and the Chairman of The Korea Ship and Offshore Structures Congress (KSSC). He also serves a variety of activities for the editorship of international journal and advisory committee of domestic/international academic societies and organizations. His research interests and expertise are concerned with the measurements of the motion of the offshore structures, system identification (offshore structures), inverse problems for fluid mechanics, water waves, floating body mechanics, and development of mathematical tool for nonlinear beam analysis. Finally, he is the author of about 40 articles including papers in Computers & Structures, International Journal of Non-Linear Mechanics, and Wave Motion and Mechanical Systems Signal Processing.
