Mohammmad Fraiwan Al-Saleh

Mohammad Fraiwan Al-Saleh is a Full Professor of statistics at the Yarmouk University, Irbid, Jordan. He has obtained his Ph.D. degree in statistics from the University of Missouri, Columbia, Mo, USA in 1992. He is a member of several international learning societies, a Reviewer of many statistical journals, and an Editor or a member of the editorial boards for some of these journals. Al-Saleh has about 75 papers, either published or accepted in international refereed indexed journals. Most of these journals are well-known prestigious journals. Moreover, he has attended many international and local statistical and scientific conferences and was in the scientific committee of some of them. In addition, he has supervised 16 Master theses and was a member of examining committees of tens of theses. In addition, he was identified in 2006 by the Statistical, Economic and Social Research and Training Centre for Islamic Countries as one of the top ten scientific researchers at the Yarmouk University. Al-Saleh was chosen as the distinguished Faculty Member in the College of Sciences, University of Sharjah for the academic year 2009-2010. He was the winner of Khalifa Award for Higher Education-Distinguished University Professor in the field of scientific research within the Arab world, 2010-2011.
