Gen Q. Xu

Gen Q. Xu received his B.S. degree in mathematics science from Shanxi University, Shanxi, China, in August 1983, his M.S. degree in applied mathematics from China Institute of Atomic Energy, Beijing, China, in June 1988, and his Ph.D. degree in mathematics science from the Institute of Mathematics and System Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China, in June 2000. From September 1988 to December 1992 Xu served as a Lecturer at the Department of Mathematics, Shanxi University, Shanxi, China, from January 1993 to November 1996 as an Associate Professor, and from December 1997 to August 2003 as a Professor at the same university. Since September 2003, Xu has been serving as a Full Professor at Tianjin University, Tianjin, China.
