Neelam Khaper received her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Physiology at the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Manitoba and a postdoctoral training from the University of Toronto, Toronto, ON, Canada. Dr. Khaper is currently an Associate Professor at the Medical Sciences Division at the Northern Ontario school of Medicine, Lakehead University, in Thunder Bay, Ontario. The major direction of Dr. Khaper’s research is to understand the link between oxidative stress and inflammation in various cardiovascular disease conditions.
