German Ros graduated in physics from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Madrid, Spain. He obtained a Ph.D. degree in 2009 from Universidad de Alcalá, Spain, in the field of ultra-high energy cosmic rays. He has been an Assistant Professor at Universidad de Alcalá since 2010. He has 8 years of experience as a Researcher as a part of an international collaboration, the Pierre Auger Observatory (http://www.auger.org/), and 5 years of teaching experience at the University of Alcalá. He is also a Coleader of the Working Group dedicated to indirect detection of dark matter by cosmic rays and ultra-high energy neutrinos within the Consolider MultiDark project (http://www.multidark.es/). His research interests are mainly ultra-high and extremely high energy cosmic rays. He has also worked in other areas as bibliometrics and evaluation of scientific journals. Scientific outreach and teaching are other topics of great interest to him.
