Ruqiang Yan

Ruqiang Yan holds a Ph.D. degree. He is a Professor at the Southeast University. His research expertise and interests are in the areas of dynamic system modeling, multidomain signal processing, nonlinear time series analysis, structural health monitoring/diagnosis/prognosis, and energy‐efficient sensor networks for collaborative information acquisition. He is an Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, and Cochair of the Technical Committee (TC-7) on Signals and Systems in Measurement of the IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Society. He is a coauthor of the book “Wavelets: Theory and Applications for Manufacturing” and has published over 90 refereed journal and conference papers. He is a Lead Guest Editor of the special issue Wavelet Transform for Condition Based Maintenance published in the International Journal of Wavelets, Multiresolution, and Information Processing, in 2009. He is a Member of ASME and Senior Member of IEEE.
