<table>Variations of cosmic ray intensity along one of the orbits of the second satellite over the northern regions of the USSR. Nowadays it is clear that they were due to the precipitation of the particles from the outer radiation belt during geomagnetic activity. Numbers 1 and 2 correspond to the read-outs of the two detectors. </table>
