Modeling, Stability, Synchronization, and Chaos and their Applications to Complex Systems

Call for Papers

The dynamics of nonlinear systems is not always predictable and at time for some specific purposes needs to follow specific paths. Over the last years there has been an interest on the behavior of complex system with applications on various fields such as biological, ecological, and neuronal systems. However, because of the variability in their level of complexity, it is often difficult to forecast even only some dynamical states of those systems via analytical methods. This special issue aims to explore modeling and nonlinear dynamics of complex nonlinear systems based upon hypothesis or data from physics, chemistry, biophysics, and neuroscience. Papers including either theoretical, experimental approaches, or both of them are welcome. Potential topics include but are not limited to:

  • Modeling and application of complex systems
  • Stability and synchronization
  • Regular and chaotic dynamic states
  • Bifurcation theory
  • Delayed complex systems
  • Passive and active control
  • Stochastic Modeling of complex problems
