The overall strain accuracy of the mers is 3.5% and is apparent from the blue distribution of average accuracy (averaged over 100 fragments) per strain. For mers, the overall average accuracy is 49.3%
and this is reflected in green average strain accuracies; this shows
that some strains begin to classify well with mers while others do not. It is interesting to
note that mers do not yield many strains with over 95%
accuracy. For mers, while the overall accuracy is 75.7%, we
can see that over 50% of the strains have over 95% accuracy. We can conclude
that most strains perform well with the NBC using mers, but some strains have poor accuracy and
cannot be resolved.
