Advanced Cementitious Building Materials with Applications in Civil Engineering

Description

Cementitious building materials have significant new progress in recent years. Researchers are targeting developments of high performance cementitious materials and also working on the mechanism research for special properties, preparation technology, testing methods, modeling, etc. The advanced cementitious building materials will provide better materials for specific projects in civil engineering. Accordingly, the application of advanced cementitious building materials is extensively reported.

We invite authors to submit original research and review articles that investigate the development of advanced cementitious building materials and their applications in civil engineering.

Potential topics include but are not limited to the following:

  • Preparation technology and basic properties
  • Durability and sustainability
  • Properties and modeling
  • Cementitious composites building materials
  • Cementitious pavement materials
  • High performance and ultrahigh performance concrete
  • High ductility and fibre-reinforced materials
  • Self-sensing/self-healing concrete
  • Admixtures for high performance building materials
  • Functional coatings for buildings
  • Testing methods and standardization in civil engineering
  • Fresh properties and constructability
  • Shrinkage and creep
  • Structural performance and modeling
  • Field applications
