The spin polarization components ⟨𝑆_𝑖⟩(𝑖=𝑥,𝑦,𝑧) as a function of the transverse position 𝑢. The Rashba strength 𝛼_𝑅=0.5×10⁻¹¹eVm and ⟨𝑆_𝑧⟩ indicates the out-of-plane spin accumulation.
