Low-Dimensional Magnetic Systems
Description
The study of low-dimensional magnetic systems is a new and important subject of present research both for investigating fundamental processes in magnets and for their potential technological applications. RAM access memories, spin-logic filters, and waveguides are a few examples of technological applications. This special issue is devoted to present the state of the art of theoretical, computational, and experimental approaches regarding spin-torque-driven devices, domain walls dynamics, and vortex dynamics which have been developed during this last decade. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
- Spin-torque-driven devices and magnonics: theoretical approach
- Spin-torque-driven devices and magnonics: experiments and technological applications
- Domain walls and domain wall dynamics in ferromagnetic strips: numerical modelling
- Vortex dynamics: theoretical models, micromagnetic simulations, and experiment
Before submission authors should carefully read over the journal's Author Guidelines, which are located at http://www.hindawi.com/journals/acmp/guidelines/. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal Manuscript Tracking System at http://mts.hindawi.com/ according to the following timetable:
