Paraformaldehyde-fixed OVA migrates faster than native OVA in native-PAGE but retains its immunoreactivity. Native OVA (lane 1), paraformaldehyde-fixed OVA dialyzed against PBS (lane 2), and native OVA dialyzed against PBS (lane 3) were analyzed by SDS-PAGE (a) and native-PAGE (b). (c) Native OVA and fixed OVA (1, 0.2, 0.04  g/lane each) were run on SDS-PAGE, and western blot was performed using anti-OVA polyclonal antibodies.
