Fuzzy Intelligent Systems Applied to Power Engineering

Call for Papers

People request the power grid utility to deliver electric power in a stable and reliable manner from generation system through transmission and distribution systems to end-users. Consequently, development of advanced technologies and novel methods applied to the modern smart grid is essential. Particularly, distributed generation resources, energy storage system, and advanced control are addressed in the power engineering

This special issue is for those who would like to publish the original papers about fuzzy intelligent system applied to the power engineering. It aims to present important results of work based on fuzzy intelligent system, especially the fuzzy system incorporating with neural network and evolutionary computation. The fuzzy system-based works can be applied with research, development of new procedures or components, original application of existing knowledge, or new design approaches

Potential topics include but are not limited to the following:

  • Grid integration of distributed generation resources
  • Power system operation and control
  • Power system reliability and stability
  • Load, renewable power, and electricity price forecasting
  • Distribution system automation and control
  • Maximum power tracking control to renewables
  • Energy charging control
  • Electric machine control
