Evidence and Search for Sterile Neutrinos at Accelerators

MiniBooNE allowed regions in antineutrino mode (a) and neutrino mode (b) for events with neutrino energy greater than 200 MeV within a two-neutrino oscillation model. Also the ICARUS [30] and KARMEN [26] appearance limits for neutrinos and antineutrinos are shown, respectively. The shaded areas show the 90% and 99% CL LSND allowed regions. The black stars show the MiniBooNE best fit points, while the circles show two reference values in the LSND allowed region.
