(a) Comparison of the predicted nonperturbative coupling, based on the dilaton modification of the metric, with measurements of the effective charge , as defined from the Bjorken sum rule. (b) Prediction from LF holography and pQCD for the QCD running coupling at all scales. The magnitude and derivative of the perturbative and nonperturbative coupling are matched at the scale . This matching connects the perturbative scale to the nonperturbative scale which underlies the hadron mass scale. See [7].
