For reference, the same spectrum obtained with a point-like annihilation medium located in the detector center [59] is displayed in (b). The vertical band around arises from two-photon annihilations and is broadened in the first case due to extensive dimensions of the annihilation chamber used. annihilation events are expected in the region located at the right side of the band [60].
