The relationships between and for the 10t, 3t, and 2t SE(B) specimens (S55C, 20°C): for 10t specimen reached the critical stress ; the stress level was maintained for increasing , indicating occurrence of cleavage fracture within negligible stable crack extension ( fracture). In contrast, for 3t and 2t specimens showed a maximum for increasing load, indicating low possibility of fracture.
