Solidification Behavior and Microstructure of Al-7Si Alloys with Individual and Combined Additions of Sr and Yb

<div>The cooling curve and derivative curve were used to measure the characteristic temperature of the eutectic reaction: (a) the cooling curve of (Sr + Yb)-modified alloy with its corresponding first and second derivative curves indicating characteristic parameters and (b) the eutectic arrest is magnified, and the main characteristic temperature (<i>T</i><sub>N</sub>, <i>T</i><sub>G</sub>, and <i>T</i><sub>Min</sub>) extracted from the curve are shown.</div>
