Test potentials from −80 to +80 mV were applied for 300 ms in 10 mV increments from a holding potential of −10 mV. Measurements were made using Na⁺-containing bath and pipette solutions. Data taken from [20]. See [66] for experimental details. The conductance of RBCs from HbSC patients is high and increases further on deoxygenation.
