Growth Characteristics of <i>Methanomassiliicoccus luminyensis</i> and Expression of Methyltransferase Encoding Genes

<div>mRNA abundance of genes encoding corrinoid proteins responsible for methanol degradation (<i>mtaC1–3</i>) in <i>M. luminyensis</i> during growth on methanol (checked bars), TMA (gray bars), DMA (white bars), or MMA (black bars). ΔCt values were calculated using the relative amount of ribosomal protein S15 transcripts as reference (C<sub>T</sub> gene—C<sub>T</sub> S15). Ratios were calculated from ΔCt values using the function 2<sup>−ΔCt</sup>. The cells were harvested from three different cultures in the mid exponential phase (average optical density = 0.15).</div>
