ODMIDDLE = outer diameter in the middle (B) between the beginning of the DLT shaft (A) and the proximal edge of the tracheal cuff (C); ODPTC = outer diameter at the proximal edge of the tracheal cuff (C); ODDTC = outer diameter at the distal edge of the tracheal cuff (D); ODPBC = outer diameter at the proximal edge of the bronchial cuff (E); ODDBC = outer diameter at the distal edge of the bronchial cuff (F) (see also Figure 1). DLT sizes are in French (= 1/3 mm). Data are displayed as median (minimum-maximum), and dimension is millimeter (mm). The largest diameter of a respective DLT size is shaded in gray (100%), the smallest diameter marked with an asterisk () (proportion of largest OD).
