Inhibition of Indoleamine-2,3-dioxygenase (IDO) in Glioblastoma Cells by Oncolytic Herpes Simplex Virus

IFNγ treatment of glioblastoma cells results in a decrease in virus yield in an MOI-dependent manner. U251 and SNB19 cells were pretreated or mock treated with IFNγ (500 U/mL) 24 h prior to infection with either KOS or JD0G at an MOI of 0.1 (a) or 10 (b), and the supernatants were titered at 24 hpi. The data present the average of two independent infections, and the error bars represent the standard deviation; these data are representative of replicate experiments.
