Optical absorption spectra of DABA-Co(II) in aqueous solution and at room temperature. Spectrum 1 was obtained with DABA-Co(II) solution saturated with N2. Spectrum 2 was obtained with DABA-Co(II) solution saturated with O2. Spectra 1′ and 2′ were obtained on the fifth cycle of alternate bubbling of N2 and O2 into the DABA-Co(II) solution ( = 4.0 × 10−4 mol·dm−3 and = 2.0 × 10−4 mol·dm−3).
