Protection of Iron-Induced Oxidative Damage in Neuroblastoma (SH-SY5Y) Cells by Combination of 1-(N-Acetyl-6-aminohexyl)-3-hydroxy-2-methylpyridin-4-one and Green Tea Extract

Levels of LIP in SH-SY5Y cells with iron loading condition. SH-SY5Y cells were being exposed with or without 2 mM FeCl3. After that, the cells were then treated with 1% DMSO, CM1 (10–40 μM), EGCG (10–40 μM), GTE (10, 20, and 40 mg/mL equivalent to 5.24, 10.48, and 20.96 μM EGCG, respectively), and combinations for 24 h. Data obtained from three independent duplicate experiments are expressed as mean ± SEM values. when compared to the untreated cells without iron loading; when compared to the iron-loaded cells treated with 1% DMSO.
