Treatment with US at 42 KHz and 0.15 does not alter cytokine release from mature DC. 1–3 cycle US treatment was performed on mature DC cultures, whose supernatants were tested for IL-12, TNF-a, IL-6, and IL-10 content in ELISA. Results are expressed as mean picograms per 10 cells per mL ± SD of triplicate cultures.
