Small nucleolar Z30 real-time PCR assay (two replicas) of RNA samples (LCL) obtained starting from 10 ng of total RNA samples (a) and from 10 ng of LMW RNA (b) extracted with different protocols. In the latter case Ct values of samples from different extractions are more reproducible, indicating a strict correlation between the amount of miRNAs and the LMW RNA fraction.
