Functional Expression of a DNA-Topoisomerase IB from Cryptosporidium parvum

Figure 1

Multiple amino acid sequence alignments of CpTopIB. The amino acid sequences predicted for the C. parvum, P. falciparum, S. cerevisiae, and human topoisomerases were aligned using the ClustalX multiple sequence alignment program. Symbols: “*’’ represents identical or conserved residues in all sequences in the alignment, “:’’ conserved substitutions and “.’’ semiconserved substitutions. Complete genomic sequences of MAT proteins are available in GenBank, for S. cerevisiae accession number (K03007), P. falciparum (X83758), human (J-03250), and C. parvum (XM-628497). Arrowheads represent the points where a protein domain starts.
