Supplementary Table: Clinical (Anatomical location, WHO grading, Age and Gender) and Dpl expression data (molecular mass, MW; relative quantity, RQ; topology, C=cytosol, M=microsomal, and CM=both) of astrocytoma specimens. Dpl was undetectable (ND) in samples 43-49.

Supplementary Figure: Assessment of the authenticity of Dpl positive bands. A low-grade (2/II) and two high-grade representative astrocytoma samples (23/IV and 33/IV), with both cytosolic and membrane fractions were ran on the same gel along with a Dpl-positive (testis) and a Dpl-negative (healthy brain) control, and similarly immunoblotted using three different anti-Dpl polyclonal antibodies. (A) Dpl-Val, the antibody currently used in all experiments. (B) rabbit anti-Dpl (FL-176) (Santa-Cruz Biotechnology). (C) goat anti-Dpl (N-20) (Santa-Cruz Biotechnology).
