Evaluation of Gq (Figure 2(a)) and Gi (Figure 2(b)) coupling of MrgD receptors assessed using FLIPR response. MrgD cells were pretreated with the PLC inhibitor (U-73122 at 2 M for 30 or 60 minutes) or pertussis toxin (100 ng overnight) for blocking Gi coupling to MrgD. FLIPR responses were evaluated by the addition of 100 M beta-alanine.
