Nigella sativa L. Seed Extract Modulates the Neurotransmitter Amino Acids Release in Cultured Neurons In Vitro

Effect produced by different concentrations (2.5, 25, and 250 μg/mL) of methanolic extract of Nigella sativa on Glycine release from cortical neurons. The cells were stimulated for 15 and 60 minutes with each concentration. The values are expressed as a percentage of secretion with respect to basal value ( 100%).
