Inhibition of attachment of procyclic L. braziliensis to the midgut of L. whitmani (Lw) and L. intermedia (Li) in the presence of phosphoglycans (PGs) (10 g/mL). Midguts were incubated with PGs from procyclic and metacyclic L. braziliensis and further incubated with procyclic promastigotes. Control midguts were incubated only with procyclic promastigotes.
