The interquartile range (IQR) values for the MVA plots show that the variation between the arrays within each group (case versus case or control versus control) is in the same range as the variation between the groups (case versus control). This indicates a high similarity between the case and control groups which is also apparent by the relatively low number of differentially expressed genes identified.
