Quantitative analysis of NeuN-positive cell. These figures show the NeuN positive cells on peri-infarct area in Con group (a), SO group (b), PG group (c), and SO plus PG group (d) at 15 days after MCAO. The number of NeuN positive cells in this area showed significant difference between control group and all treated groups. The number of these cells decreased very much in the control group. There were many NeuN-positive cells in SO + PG group compared to other groups. However, there was no difference between PG and SO + PG group. *.
