The typical pattern of the muscle layer proliferation. The hyperplasia of muscle layer was noted after two days of postobstruction. Seven days after obstruction, the hypertrophy of both muscle layers was also observed. The circumferential muscle layer increased much more than the longitudinal muscle layer.
