Production of a Solvent, Detergent, and Thermotolerant Lipase by a Newly Isolated Acinetobacter sp. in Submerged and Solid-State Fermentations

Effects of various organic solvents on Acinetobacter sp. lipase activity. The enzyme was preincubated for 30 min at 30°C with 30% v/v of solvents with 150 rpm agitation. The lipolytic activity was measured at 65°C relative to the control (without solvent), using olive oil (emulsified, 1 : 1 v/v, in 50 mM Tris-HCl buffer, pH 8.0) as substrate.
