Usefulness of FDG, MET and FLT-PET Studies for the Management of Human Gliomas

Figure 2

The correlations between SUV max (FDG (a), MET (b), and FLT (c)) and Ki-67 index were determined. Analysis indicates a more significant correlation between the Ki-67 index and FLT SUV max ( 𝑟 = 0 . 7 2 , 𝑃 < 0 . 0 0 1 ) than between the index and FDG SUV max ( 𝑟 = 0 . 1 6 , 𝑃 = 0 . 2 4 ) or MET SUV max ( 𝑟 = 0 . 3 2 , 𝑃 = 0 . 0 2 ). The correlations between T / N ratio (FDG (d), MET (e) and FLT (f)) and Ki-67 index were determined. Analysis indicates a more significant correlation between the Ki-67 index and FLT T / N ratio ( 𝑟 = 0 . 6 3 , 𝑃 < 0 . 0 0 1 ) than between the index and FDG T / N ratio ( 𝑟 = 0 . 3 3 , 𝑃 = 0 . 0 2 ) or MET T / N ratio ( 𝑟 = 0 . 3 9 , 𝑃 < 0 . 0 1 ).
