Comparison of Acute Recoil between Bioabsorbable Poly-L-lactic Acid XINSORB Stent and Metallic Stent in Porcine Model

After implantation of XINSORB stent, angiography showed no residual stenosis. There were no acute stent malapposition and the stents were welldeployed by intravascular ultrasound (IVUS). Green arrows show the stent struts. The polymer struts were represented by parallel layers of echoes (a, distal part of XINSORB stent; b, middle part of XINSORB stent; and c, proximal part of XINSORB stent).
