Camel Milk Triggers Apoptotic Signaling Pathways in Human Hepatoma HepG2 and Breast Cancer MCF7 Cell Lines through Transcriptional Mechanism

Effect of camel milk on apoptotic Caspase-3 catalytic activity in HepG2 cells. HepG2 cells were treated for 24 h with a various concentrations of camel milk (2.5, 5, 10, and 20 mg/mL). Thereafter, caspase-3 activity was determined calorimetrically using sing the CaspACE assay system purchased from Biovision. Caspase-3 activity was assessed by measuring absorbance at a wavelength of 405 nm with a plate reader (Bio-Tek Instruments, Winooski, VT). Values are presented as mean ± SEM ( 𝑛 = 6 ). + 𝑃 < 0 . 0 5 compared to control (0 mg/mL).
