In vivo preexposure prophylaxis assay. D9 mAb at the dose of 5 μg was administered by the i.p. route into mice at 1, 2, 4, 6, or 8 weeks before ricin challenge (5 × LD50) by the i.p. route and then mouse survival rate was monitored for 7 days.
